<big style="color: rgb(164, 164, 164);">After a few left, he spoke again.</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Take a look on your desk, there should be a stack of materials, a black ink pen, a blue ink pen, a stack of line paper for notes about 10 pages thick, a stand of ten plain white sheets of paper for any diagrams or charts you'd like to right out by hand, a stack of all of the pre-made diagrams, and finally, a transcript of my lecture today will be available at the end, up here on my desk."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Today we will begin by discussing the “Firearm handling techniques. Before we get into anything fancy, well will start with the basics.</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(164, 164, 164);">After a few moments, a young pretty SHIELD technician began to hand out pistols. The particular pistol in question was the Glock Model 34, Generation 4 Once everyone had their pistol, it was time to continue.</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Here we have the Generation 4, G34 by Glock. Why this particular pistol? The simple reason is that for some reason, the United STates Government has decided that we should be using Glocks as our primary side arm, and the G34 uses the most common ammunition; 9x19mm. The G34 is the competition form 9x19mm Glock, and the Generation 4 is the newest, most up to date version."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"So let's get to the basics. The basic rules of firearm safety. First, NEVER ever point your weapon at anything you are not willing to shoot. Unless you have really high-speed training, that means don't point the weapon at anything you're not willing to destroy or kill. Second, always assume a weapon is loaded and ready to fire, and therefore treat it as such. Third, always keep your finger off of the trigger until the instant you are ready to fire the weapon."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now that we have gone over the basic, we will look at how to operate the weapon itself. First is how to load the weapon. Next to each of your firearms, is a detachable box magazine that has the capacity to hold up to 17 rounds of 9x19mm rounds. Next to that magazine, are 18 orange colored, plastic rounds. Pick up the magazine with your non-dominant hand. For right handed individuals, that is your left hand. For left handers, that is your right hand. At the top of your magazine, you will see that it slants to one side, and a portion of the top is partially covered by metal. Make sure that the covered part is facing your palm, and the open part is facing your middle knuckles."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Next, take up one of the orange colored plastic rounds in your dominant hand between your thumb and the top of your index finger. For right handers, this is your right hand. For left handers, that is your left hand. Make sure that the rear of the round is facing the tip of your thumb, and that the front of the round is facing the rear of your thumb. Next, place the rear of the round into the open portion of the top of your magazine, and then press down and back until the round is securely in place underneath the covered portion of the magazine. Repeat this step until the magazine is full of 17 rounds."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now that we have a fully loaded magazine, place it down on the table. Next, look at the firearm. The back side of the grip is called the back strap. Near the top of the backstrap you will see that the weapon curve in towards the interior of the weapon, and they it curves back towards you. This curve is where you would put the curve of your hand between the thumb and index finger of your dominant hand. Reach down and grab the firearm with your dominant hand, making sure to keep your grip on the handle so that the curve of your thumb to index finger stays tightly in the upper curve of the back strap."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Make sure that your finger stays off of the trigger. The next step is to load the weapon. Cant your weapon so that the top of the weapon is slanted towards your dominant-hand side, and the bottom of the weapon is slanted towards your non-dominant-hand side. Within the grip of the firearm, you should notice a long box-shaped hole. This hole is where you will place the magazine. Pick the magazine up in your non-dominant hand, in the same manner as you held it previously when loading it. Place the tip of the magazine in the hole in the grip of the firearm with the tip of the rounds facing forward away from you. Once the tip is in, you will push the magazine in with the palm of your hand on the bottom of the magazine, until you hear it click or it will not go any farther up."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now you have a loaded firearm, but not a readied firearm. That is to say, it is loaded, but not ready to fire. In order to to get your firearm ready to fire, Take your non-dominant hand with your fingers pointed at your dominant-hand side, knuckles up, and palm down. Place your non-dominant hand on that top piece of metal that is cocked back. That is called the slide. Pull the slide all the way back, and let it go forward. Once it slides all the way forward, the weapon is ready to be fired."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The next step is to get your hands ready to fire. The way your dominant-hand is holding the weapon now is the proper on-handed technique. However, the two handed technique is ALMOST ALWAYS better than the one hand technique. To get to the proper two-handed technique, you should place your non-dominant hand on the weapon in the following manner. First place your non-dominant palm so that is connects with the bottom edge of the dominant hand. Second so that your non-dominant index finger is up against your dominant middle finger. Third so that your non-dominant thumb is flush under your dominant thumb."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now that you have a loaded, readied, and properly held weapon. We must look into how to hit what you want to hit. On the front and rear of the weapon are metal notches called sights. There is 1 skinny metal notch on the front of the front of the weapon, and two skinny metal notches on the rear. To aim the weapon properly, the front metal notch should be just under your visual of what you want to hit, and it should be both between and level with the the two rear metal notches in your visualization."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now that you know how to load a magazine, load the magazine into the weapon, ready to weapon, hold the weapon and how to get a sight picture, we will practice shooting what we're aiming at."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(142, 124, 108); font-weight: bold;">The technician then handed out the Glock 17R, Glock's laser training version of their 9x19mm system. </big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Before you now is the laser training version of the pistol you have already handled. This tool will replicate every function of the standard Glock, except that is has no firing pin to fire real rounds, and a laser exits the barrel when you pull the trigger. On the wall you will see a digital target picture. Each of you will aim in the manner I have instructed, and attempt to hit the laser into the bullseye of the target. You will have 17 attempts to get the best score you can. Any shot attempted while not pointed at the target will count as a zero. Any shot pointed at another person will get you a negative 100. A perfect bullseye is a 100. Every Time you attempt a shot while not holding the tool properly, will count as a 0."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"After everyone has made their attempts, they are dismissed, and Part II will commence tomorrow in this location."</big>

<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Today we will begin by discussing the “OODA Loop.” What is the OODA loop? Simply it is a way of describing the process in which individuals or organizations react to what's occurring around them. In this class, we will be focusing on it's implications and implementation to the individual.</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The OODA Loop consist of four steps, or four stages. The first step is called Observation, the act of observing. It takes a perfectly healthy human brain with no deficiencies zero point zero zero five, or five one thousandths of a second to receive sound input through the Cochlear Nerve in your ears; 0.004, or 4/1,000th of a second to receive taste input through the Facial Nerve ; 0.007, or 7/1,000th of a second to receive taste input through the Olfactory Nerve in your tongue; and 0.005, or 5/1,000ths of a second to receive taste input through the Optic Nerve from your eye. The sense of touch is different. The sense of touch is highly dependent on the distance between the area touched and the brain. To explain I will use the average height of a man. Five foot, ten, or seventy inches, or one point seven seven eight meters."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"In normal human beings with no deficiencies, neural signals are sent to and from the brain at a speed of 300 m/s. That translates to 984 feet per second. When you factor that in with the after male height and body proportions, it will take 0.014, or 14/1,000ths of second to get sensation from the bottom of our feet to your brain; 0.008, or 8/1,000ths of a second to receive input from, and send output to your hands; 0.013, or 13/1,000ths of a second from to and from your knees; and 0.004, or 4/1,000ths of second to and from your elbows."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The next step in your mental process is called <i>“Orient.”</i> What one does in the orient step is that they filter through all of the raw data inputs from their five senses, or as some believe, their sixth sense as well, through logical thought process, such as if-then statements, any emotional thought processes, such as are they angry already, cultural preconceived notions, such as “pink is a girl's color:, and previous experience, such as “The last time I received this input, that result happened.”"</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now... I'm not going to get into the social aspects of the orient step because it is very different for every person. I will however let you know that the neurological part of the orient step's in a perfectly healthy human brain with no deficiencies, is gonna take a MINIMUM of 0.11, or 1/10th of a second."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The third step in the process is called <i>“Decide.”</i> The Decide step is your brain calculating the believed correct response to your understanding of the inputs collected in the observe step, and processed in the orient step. Just like the Orient step, the neurological process in a perfectly healthy human brain with no deficiencies, is going to take a minimum of 0.11, or 1/10th of a second to perform."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The final step in the OODA Loop is called <i>”Act.”</i> The Act step is your brain transmitting those responses that were calculated in the decide step, to the parts of your body required to carry out the calculated response. The time for the muscles in question to receive the instructions is the same as to receive these inputs from the body parts in the observe step."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"What does this mean in the real world for me, you might be asking. The real world application of this is that it means that the maximum speed of a perfectly healthy human brain and nervous system, is 0.2 or 1/5th of a second per action, and 0.4 or 2/5th of a second per reaction. This means that if you are the aggressor in combat you will be able to make a maximum of five actions per second, and the defender will only be able to make 2.5 actions per second. Now this may not be true when dealing with super humans or mutants due to natural or unnatural enhancements."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"The moral of this story is to ALWAYS be the aggressor whenever possible. And if you are the defender, you will have to be twice as combat effective with each action since you will get at most half as many."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Now that we have examined the way the mind works, in a combat mode, and why... We shall look at some examples."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"I'm sure some of you have used flash-bangs in tactical operations before. Those are effective for the following reasons. First is that against the untrained, they reset the targets' OODA Loop by wiping their possible data from the Orient Step. When it overloads their nervous system, it temporarily blinds them, removes their hearing, and robs them of their balance. This means they'd have to start over thinking about what happened, what that means, and how to respond to it, using only their senses of taste, smell, and touch. Sine the human brain is about 80% oriented to the visual and 15% the auditory, that robs them of 95% of the normal data to react to their world around them."</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"Another example is in a gun fight. Let's take the example of the Old West-Style gun duel. In fiction depictions and in most real life examples, the two men stand the prerequisite distance apart and at the designated signal would draw their guns and fire. Both men perform their OOD of their OODA Loops, and at the designated signal, they perform their A, their Act steps, and the better shot at that moment wins"</big>
<br>
<br>
<big style="color: rgb(83, 97, 88); font-weight: bold;">"However, the way to double your likelihood of not getting hot, and thereby getting more time to aim your shot and hit the target, is to do something simple like crouching, or even just stepping to the left or right as you draw your weapon, and then shoot. Now if you want until the opponent draws so make this decision, you will be reacting and therefore half as fast as them. However, if you make this plan from the beginning, and train to do it right, you can take your step while he is drawing, while you are drawing. This will cause him to either shoot and miss you, then re-aim to shoot you, or to take longer to aim to shoot you. This will give you a minimum of 1/10th, and a maximum of 1/4th of a second of more time than the opponent to shoot, and shoot accurately."</big>

”I got this...memory thing. I pick up anyone's moves just by seein' 'em. That's a lotta data. More'n my brain's got room for, I guess. So I...forget things. Things that ain't about combat, about survival. People, places... I can't remember what I did last week. By Monday, I probably won't remember this conversation. I wanted ta fight you 'cause... I thought if I remembered your moves, I might remember you. ”
<br><br>
Anthony Masters has the ability to emulate the body movements of other individuals after observing them. The longer the observation, the more accurately he can replicate them. This ability is called photographic reflexes. Due to these reflexes, which tie directly into his muscle memory, he can duplicate almost any physical act he sees after seeing it done by someone else only once. Anthony can sometimes do things which border on superpowers. One such example, is that after watching martial arts movies on fast-forward he is able to briefly duplicate the moves at a greatly increased velocity, effectively giving him a limited form of super-speed.
<br><br>
Anthony can also learn sleight of hand techniques, such as those of a master poker cheater simply by watching them, play complex types of music, and perform complex gymnastics routines, ect. He does however, prefer to copy armed and unarmed combat styles and techniques.
<br><br>
Anthony has shown the ability to predict with some accuracy, dependent on how long he has observed the target, to predict the opponent's next moves.<p>

<font style="color:#000000; font-size:10px;">✖ Skills ✖</font>
<br>Anthony Masters has the training that comes from both U.S. Military Special Operations Command Training, and that of S.H.I.E.L.D. Training.
<br><br>
Note [1]: Below are the following individuals who's fighting sills Masters took video of to learn when he left S.H.I.E.L.D.
<ul>
<li>Braddock, Elizabeth <i>"Betsy"</i> - not taken by anyone yet.
<li>Brooks, Eric - not taken by anyone yet.
<li>Fury, Nicholas Joseph <i>"Nick"</i> - not taken by anyone yet.

<li>Romanova <i>(Shostakova)</i>, Natalia Alianovna - not taken by anyone yet.
<li>T'Challa, Son of T'Chaka, King of Wakanda. - not taken by anyone yet.
<li>Zemo, Helmut J. - permission given.
</ul><p>

<font style="color:#000000; font-size:10px;">✖ Weaknesses ✖</font>
<br>Anthony Masters cannot duplicate any ability that actually requires super-human powers, or energy manipulation. His abilities are also limited so that they do not give him underlying abilities. For example, if he did not know how to swim, then emulating an Olympic diver's diving skill will not be able to emulate the ability to swim.
<br><br>
Furthermore, this super memory of his does not apply to personal memories, only to technical skills and data. For every new combat style or methodology learned, Anthony will loose a week of his own personal declarative memories. The current skills he knows has already removed any personal knowledge of his from before he became a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, including his childhood.
<br><br>
For some reason, Anthony has never been able to replicate Deadpool's combat form.
<br><br>

<font style="color:#000000; font-size:10px;">✖ History ✖</font>
<br>Anthony Masters was born on July 2nd, 1969 in Montpelier, Vermont, U.S.A. To an African-American United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer, and an Anglo-American history professor. Their names are James Anthony Masters, and Sarah Elizabeth Masters (Black).
<br><br>
Growing up was an alright time, his father was demanding as all marine officers are. His mother was loving and supportive as most mothers are, and that's where it ended. Neither of his sets of grandparents were found of his parents' relationship, nor did they treat him very well. While they weren't ruse to him, they were not loving or supportive, just polite. After all it wasn't his fault that his parents got together. Society wasn't that supportive either. While it wasn't illegal in their state, it was still illegal in some others, and still carried a negative social connotation in many places.
<br><br>
Anthony was required to work twice as hard to prove himself to everyone. Eventually this lead to a drive to push the limit, the strive for the highest prize, to accomplish anything and everything. Anthony began to develop a reputation as an over achiever. He achieved in Army J.R.O.T.C., history, government, foreign language, and science classes.
<br><br>
After high school, Anthony enrolled in Wheaton College in their Economics department through an R.O.T.C. scholarship. After four years of hard work, he completed his years at the university, with his major in economics and his minor in political science.
<br><br>
After college, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army under the Special Forces Candidate program. After enlistment, he went through boot camp, infantry school, Special Forces Preparation and Conditioning, Special Forces Assessment and Selection, and finally Special Forces Qualification Course as per normal Special Forces Candidates. This left him being assigned as Junior Weapons Sergeant to Operational Detachment Alpha 5211, of Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, United States Army Special Forces. After spending a little bit of time in the Special Forces, Anthony did some Army specialist training, and then later was transferred as Senior Weapons Sergeant to Operational Detachment Alpha 5336, of Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, United States Army Special Forces.
<br><br>
Two years later, Anthony was invited to try out for the United States Army's Compartmentalized Elements, and after 180 days, completed the training program. Anthony was transferred as weapons specialist to Bravo Team, Assault Troop 01, Charlie Squadron. Three years later, Anthony went through the Jungle Warfare School at Fort Sherman.
<br><br>
One year later, Anthony decided it was time to join the reserves, and go back to school. After finishing all of his paperwork, Anthony enrolls in Norwhich University. While there, he joins the Naval ROTC & psychology departments. After doing his work, and attending classes, Anthony graduates with a bachelors in psychology, and accepts a U.S. Naval Commission to the grade of Ensign.
<br><br>
After graduating to the fleet, it is clear to Ensign Masters that the run of the mill military life just wouldn't cut it with his past experiences, and craved something more. Due this feeling of emptiness, he joined the Naval Special Warfare Command as a Special Warfare Officer Candidate. Two and a half years later, Lieutenant Masters completed the Naval Special Warfare Officer pipeline and was assigned as Interrogator & Breacher of Fireteam Three, Squad Four, Troop Two, Team Three, Special Warfare Group One, United States Naval Special Warfare Command.
<br><br>
Two years later, Lieutenant Masters was approached by plain clothed agents of the Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage, Law-Enforcement Division, also known as SHIELD, invited him to a classified briefing at the Triskellion, SHIELD's headquarters building. The next day he showed up in a designer suit, and was given the rundown on SHIELD's operations and purpose. This greatly intrigued Lieutenant Commander Masters, and he decided that SHIELD sounded just right for him and signed up. Ten weeks later, Anthony completed SHIELD training as a level five agent and began conducting their standard field operations.
<br><br>
During his time as a SHIELD agent, he eventually was sent on a mission to destroy a HYDRA base and it's operations. During this operation, Commander Masters became surrounded by dozens of Hydra agents in the lab. In an effort to make himself more combat effective, he injected himself with the primer of SS-Hauptsturmführer Horst Gorscht, This primer is a mixture is a modification of the adrenal steroid cortisol, which is designed to make the Procedural Memory accessible and useable. Giving complete access to this form of memory, would allow a sapient being to instantly, or nearly instantly learn to new things.
<br><br>
As a result of this injection, his combat ability expanded exponentially as he fought the Hydra goons, and allowed him to finish his mission and escape. As he interacted with his fellow SHIELD agents, he began to subconsciously learn their physical movement traits. So much so that more and more of his memories, and the emotional attachments that go with them, of his comrades. Eventually, he decided that there was no interest in him remaining in SHIELD. Therefore, he used hi status in SHIELD, security clearance, and rank to capture as many videos as possible from the SHILED archive of various heroes and villains [1], to learn their combat techniques, before disappearing into the criminal underworld.
<br><br>
Since that time, Anthony Masters has gone by the moniker of “Taskmaster,” and has been using his combat skills as a mercenary.
<p>

<font style="color:#000000; font-size:10px;">✖ Personality ✖</font>
<br>If one where to ask Anthony what his political ideology is, he'd tell you that it really depends on his mood or other similar factors. He goes back and forth between anarcho-capitalism/voluntarism and minarchy. Socially, Anthony is extremely conservative, and a classical liberal. When it comes to Anthony relationship with and theology of the divine, then he'd tell you that he is a follower of a strict biblical purist Christ follower.
<br><br>
Anthony has a kind of dual mind. What is meant by that is he can go from being very passionate about what he believes, to a seemingly cold and calculating individual. The truth is that normally it a very logical and passionate person, who turns in a very ruthless and calculating individual in combat, or whenever he is mentally mission oriented.
<br><br>
When it comes to dealing with other people, Anthony could be best described as a sociopath in the clinical sense. That is to say that he as absolutely no empathy. He cannot empathize with other human beings. He still has a moral code. Anthony deals with his friends generously and freely, his lovers passionately and loyally, and his enemies with a hardcore Machiavellian ruthlessness.
